A Remote Sensing Satellite Lifts off

    The remote sensing satellite Yaogan -36 lifted off from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in the southwestern province of Sichuan on October 15. It was launched by a Long March-2D carrier rocket and marked the 444th flight missions of the rocket.

    Autumn Harvest Speeds up

    About 71.3 percent of the farmland across China have been harvested by October 17, covering over 62 million hectares, indicating a growth rate of 2.6 percent in harvest efficiency year on year, according to China's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. The harvest efforts in other crop areas within the country are also speeding up.

    The ISO 34501 was published last week, defining several aspects of test scenarios for automated driving systems, including safety evaluating structures, scene terminologies, and scene classifications. The establishment of the standard was led by Chinese experts.
