China's 4th-generation Quantum Computing Control System Launched
Chinese quantum computing company Origin Quantum has launched Origin Tianji 4.0, China's fourth-generation self-developed quantum computing control system that supports 500+ quantum bits. The system enhances efficient control and accurate reading of quantum chips, thus greatly shortening the development and delivery time of quantum computers.
First Batch of Five 9,000-tonne Air Film Granaries Inflated
The first batch of five 9,000-tonne air film granaries was recently inflated in Changsha, central China's Hunan province, marking the fourth-generation new-type granaries entering practical application. The air tightness of these granaries can be six times that of national high-standard granaries, and their energy consumption is significantly lower.
Zero Carbon Gas Dehydration Device Runs for Over 2,000 Hrs
Developed by the design institute of the Offshore Oil Engineering Co., the zero carbon natural gas dehydration device has operated for more than 2,000 hours on the BZ26-6CEPA platform of China National Offshore Oil Corporation. The device is expected to dehydrate over 31.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas during its entire life cycle.
Most Electrically Conductive Organic Molecule Developed
A team of international researchers claims to have developed the world's most electrically conductive organic molecule. This new molecule is composed of elements easily found in nature such as carbon, sulfur and nitrogen. This breakthrough in molecule materials offers a new approach for building smaller and more powerful computing devices at molecular scale. The research was published in the Journal of the American Chemical Society.
