At the 37th International Geological Congress recently held in Busan, South Korea, three geological heritage sites from China were included in the second batch of the International Union of Geological Sciences' 100 Geological Heritage Sites, including Permian vegetation of the Wuda Fossil Site in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Dashanpu Middle Jurassic Dinosaur Fossils Site in Sichuan province and the Guilin Karst in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
