Beijing MatrixTech has developed a new thermal insulation material with an extremely low thermal conductivity, which can be used within -50 to 150 °C environment.

    The material, Y-Warm, though very thin, can block the conduction and exchange heat with a thermal conductivity of 0.00824w/mK. 

    According to Yao Sheng, assistant general manager of the company, though Y-Warm's thickness is reduced by 80 percent, the warmth is increased by five times.

    Moreover, Y-Warm has good moisture absorption and dries fast, which can easily permeate out the sweat generated by the human body.

    It is learned that production process of Y-Warm is under an aqueous system and the only emission it generates is water vapor, which can be recycled.
