  Space-based Observatory Detects 200 Solar Flares

  The Advanced Space -based Solar Observatory, dubbed Kuafu-1, has detected more than 200 solar flares since first launched into space last October, according to the project's chief scientist Gan Weiqun last week. Observation data from three payloads onboard Kuafu -1 has been made available for trial use at home and abroad.

  Shenzhou-15 Astronauts Return to Beijing

  The three astronauts Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu from Shenzhou-15 manned spaceship arrived in Beijing on June 4 following a six-month space station mission. They successfully completed four extravehicular activities (EVAs), becoming the crew to accomplish the most EVAs of all Chinese crews to date.

  National Natural History Museum Inaugurated

  On June 5, the National Natural History Museum of China was officially inaugurated in Beijing. As the only nation-level and comprehensive natural museum in China, it aims to protect, study and display natural objects and natural heritage with historical, scientific and artistic values.
