The Shenzhen Employment and Residence Service Center for Foreigners (the Service Center) was inaugurated in December 2020. The inauguration also witnessed the online operation of an integrated service management platform for foreigners, through which expats can apply for work and residence permits at the same time. The approval process has been shortened to seven working days. Below is the flow chart of application for foreigners.
