The Fourth World Artificial Intelligence Conference got off to a smart start with the theme "Intelligent Connectivity, Inspirational Cities" when doors opened at the Shanghai World Expo Center on July 8.
The conference focuses on artificial intelligence empowering the digital transformation of cities. Domestic and international representatives of artificial intelligence from sci-tech academia and industry shared their thoughts on issues of digital cities, industrial digitization and data governance.
Zhou Hongyi, founder of the 360 Group, said that at present, building a digital city has become a new strategy to shape advantages in urban development, as well as playing an important role in building a strong cyberpower, a digital China, and a smart society.
From self-driving cars to intelligent manufacturing, the application of AI technology has drilled deep into all walks of life, promoting the digital transformation of traditional industries.
The application of AI technology has offered new ideas and new solutions for the digital upgrade of various industries. Some manufacturing companies in Shanghai have used AI technology by Tencent in the quality inspection process to reduce cost and increase efficiency.
The World Artificial Intelligence Conference also released major world-class AI application scenarios.
